Tia Stella,
I just wanted to let you know how special you are to me and always have been. Your love, kindness, generosity, and compassion have always been appreciated.
Tia Stella, you were the “cool tia” that taught me how to drive a car. You were the “cool tia” that gave me my 1st mixed drink on Thanksgiving at Tia Cota’s house when I was about 13 years old. Thanks J You were the “cool tia” wearing “Daisy Dukes” before Daisy Duke wore them J Friends always commented on your beauty and youthfulness. I have always been proud to have you as my tia.
I want to thank you for always being there – you have always given so much of yourself. Thank you for baptizing Cassandra and being her “Nina”; thank you for being Celyna’s babysitter and “Nina” when she was 4 years old; and thank you for always going to all our birthday parties, baby showers, barbecues, and any other “parties”.
Tia Stella, I want you to know that I admire you for being so strong and courageous, fighting such a long, difficult, and painful battle. You’ve shown me what true faith in God is. You have shown so much compassion for others during your own difficult times. You were there for me when I was hurting because Andrè went to jail. You listened to my pain, even though you were experiencing your own pain.
I may not have told you often, but I LOVE YOU TIA STELLA and you mean so much to me and my kids…we all love you.
May the Lord bless you and comfort you, easing the pain you are going through.
Love you always, Cynthia
